Marine Systems Engineer

Function

Due to the continued success and grow we are looking for a experienced Marine Systems Engineer. In this job position You will be responsible for initial design and basic engineering for all possible systems on board of the vessel.

• Initial design and basic engineering based on clients request;
• Creating diagrams of systems on board such as: fuel systems, exhaust systems, cooling water systems, HVAC, high pressure water systems, etc;
• Performing calculations, strength calculations, pump size, pipe size, etc;
• Selecting the right equipment based on performed calculations;
• You cooperate with different technical disciplines;
• Communication with class approval organizations like DNV, Bureau Veritas or Lloyds.

Requirements

• A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or Marine Engineer.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in similar roles within the shipbuilding industry.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive, creative, and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
