Do you have experience in financial management and the ability to oversee finances for large-scale offshore projects in an international setting?

We are looking for a Cost Controller to manage and oversee all financial aspects of capital expenditure and lump sum projects, including cost reporting, budget management, forecasting, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure accurate financial administration and compliance.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor all financial aspects of capital expenditure, lump sum, and reliable projects.
• Analyse contracts post-handover and prepare financial summaries for projects exceeding $500K. 
• Coordinate with tax counsel to ensure proper handling of project taxation. 
• Prepare and issue monthly financial forecasts in collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Controls Manager using e-FS software. 
• Perform monthly tracking of the Percentage of Completion (PoC), including booking accruals to ensure consistency with physical progress. 
• Prepare manpower forecasts in conjunction with the Project Manager using Excel and e-MF software. 
• Generate specific monthly reports upon client or partner request.
• Review and validate change orders with the Project Manager for inclusion in financial forecasts. 
• Input and verify project budgets in Nadia software, ensuring accuracy before approval by the Project Manager.
• Check and process incoming invoices against purchase orders and manage approval for payment. 
• Control supplier payments using e-SR software and manage client invoicing according to contractual terms. 
• Manage and track client payments and issue reminders as necessary.
• Prepare final project provisions and audit files, and compile the Project Finalised Report. 

Gevraagd

• Degree from a business school or in finance/accounting. 
• At least 5 years in cosy control within an international environment, preferably in large projects.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial management, including familiarity with financial software like e-FS and Nadia.
• Strong capability in using IT tools and software for financial management and reporting. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and fluency in English are required.
• Curiosity and proactivity with a strong capacity for managing detailed work under tight deadlines. 
• Familiarity with international financial regulations and standards applicable to large-scale projects.
