Field Delivery Manager

About the Opportunity

R-inhouse is supporting a global leader in critical infrastructure solutions in the search for a Field Delivery Manager.

Due to continued growth within the data centre sector, our client is looking for an experienced people manager to lead a team of Field Service Engineers across the Benelux region.

This role is focused on leadership, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing and developing a team supporting mission-critical environments, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery across UPS and Thermal technologies.

The position combines people management, customer engagement and operational oversight, making it ideal for a leader who enjoys being close to the business, supporting engineers in the field and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Field Service Engineers across the Benelux.
• Drive performance through clear objectives, KPIs and regular feedback.
• Manage workforce planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure high-quality execution of maintenance, repair and installation activities.
• Act as the escalation point for operational and customer-related issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with Technical Support, Operations, Logistics and Sales teams.
• Support training, development and succession planning within the team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing Field Service, Maintenance or Engineering teams.
• Background within critical infrastructure, data centres, power systems, UPS, switchgear, cooling or a similar technical environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance operational priorities with people leadership responsibilities.
• Engineering qualification or equivalent technical background.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Dutch language skills are beneficial but not essential.
