Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist for a company in Amsterdam.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, your responsibilities include analyzing the end-to-end supply chain, from inbound to delivery to the dealer, encompassing warehouse and distribution operations, logistic information systems, and purchasing processes. You will lead annual process reviews at our logistic warehouse provider to ensure continuous improvement. Collaboration across functions is essential as you interpret and translate business requirements into effective logistic processes. Identifying potential areas for improvement in business processes and conducting comprehensive analyses on any part of the supply chain, including vendor evaluation, are key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will optimize warehousing efficiency, set up budgets for warehousing, transportation, and purchasing of kit consumables, and monitor budget progress in consultation with the Supply Chain Manager. Developing and managing bidding documents (RFI/RFQ) to ensure the best selection of vendors, analyzing bidding documents, summarizing results, and presenting findings to stakeholders are part of your duties. You will also oversee the procurement of products and services, extending beyond supply chain-related items to include kit accessories, instruction manuals, and more. Finally, your role involves identifying risks and implementing measures to mitigate potential risks.

Gevraagd

• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field
• At least three years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain, demonstrating practical knowledge and expertise
• Availability of 40 hours per week 
• Fluent in Dutch and English because of job duties, with proficiency in other languages being desirable
• Strong negotiation skills, enabling effective collaboration with vendors and suppliers
• An eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of work
• The ability to adapt to last-minute changes and shifting priorities, showcasing flexibility and agility
• A customer-centric mindset, empathizing with customers and proactively anticipating their needs
• The ability to make quick and informed decisions based on thorough analysis
