Location Capelle aan den IJssel, The Netherlands Wat will you do? The most important thing within the Operations Leader position is to manage and oversee operational activities and successfully implement improvements within Production, Logistics and Purchasing. This includes overseeing operational activities to ensure customer satisfaction with our services while considering productivity, efficiency, cost, quality, standardization and safety to meet specified goals.

MT position with a focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Direct management of Purchasing, Logistics & Production departments.

Wat will you do? 
The most important thing within the Operations Leader position is to manage and oversee operational activities and successfully implement improvements within Production, Logistics and Purchasing. This includes overseeing operational activities to ensure customer satisfaction with our services while considering productivity, efficiency, cost, quality, standardization and safety to meet specified goals. 

In addition to your functional responsibilities, the Operations Leader is also responsible for managing staff performance, ensuring smooth collaboration with other departments to meet specified revenue goals. A key responsibility is providing overall leadership and successful implementation of LEAN practices and methodologies for continuous improvement within the organization. 

Qualifactions is seeking an entrepreneurial Operations Leader who has experience successfully supporting operational performance of the aforementioned departments using LEAN management principles. They are also looking for someone with a positive attitude and can be a mentor to his/her departments. A high energy type with a focus on measurable success!
 • Minimum Bachelor level with 3-5 years of work experience in an MT position; 
 • Preferably experience within the electro-mechanical manufacturing environment; 
 • Minimum of 3 years practical experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques and understanding of Operational Excellence; 
 • Familiar with ISO standards, CE, CSA or other safety standards; 
 • Experience as a manager in leading operational departments; 
 • Experience with an ERP/MRP system (Exact Globe preferred); 
 • Knowledge of managing forecast and budgets, P&L; 
 • Positive, motivational leadership style & effectively verbally strong, someone who knows how to get people on board; 
 • Good knowledge of Dutch and English language.
