Are you the new expedition employee for our client that specializes in heat treatments in Venlo? As an expedition employee at our client, you are an essential part of a successful team.

• Loading and unloading of goods;
• Receipt of incoming goods: inspection, registration, weighing, labeling and checking for damage;
• Transport of goods to the right department or storage area, occasional transport to customers;
• Preparation of shipments: weighing, checking, packing, registration of shipments via system, preparation of transport documents;
• Communicate with customers if there is no pickup;
• Administrative tasks such as archiving shipping advice, filling in car day sheets;
• Handling anomalies in shipments and reporting damage or financial issues;
• Assisting with loading and unloading operations;
• Cleaning up waste and scrap bins;
• Enforcement of safety regulations and active participation in the safety policy, including executive tasks for company emergency response (BHV);
• Performing other tasks related to the position.

Gevraagd

• At least a VMBO working and thinking level;
• Mastering the Dutch, German or English language;
• At least 6 months of experience as a shipping employee;
• Familiarity with ERP systems;
• In possession of a forklift certificate;
• Customer-oriented and calm in a variety of situations.
