Business Controller Out of Home at Vrumona

Your role

As Business Controller Out of Home at Vrumona you maximize business performance by challenging and influencing the relevant stakeholders and you will act as a business partner on a day to day basis.

As a business partner you provide advice & guidance to the Vrumona Out of Home business by:

• Maximize business performance by challenging and influencing the Out of Home Management Team and relevant senior stakeholders
• Influence and strengthen financial decision making in Out of Home
• Drive and initiate future performance of the Out of Home business
• Secure the finance element of business cases
• Provide business and market/competitors insights;
• Drive cost efficiencies
• Improve the ROI of our commercial investments by setting and maintaining the right dealmaking guidelines for our account manager;
• Come up with new insights from our sell-out data which broaden business perspectives and potentially create new business opportunities (i.e. accelerate data driven sales);
• Proactively work with relevant management team(s) to identify, analyse and exploit business opportunities (e.g. new sales channels, cost saving opportunities), intervene on fundamental issues, and provide financial leadership on (strategic) projects;
• In order to do so, job holder has a high level of business understanding and builds and maintains relationships with relevant stakeholders, not only through meeting their needs but also through constant fact based challenges.

In this position you will be supporting the business planning cycle for the 1 to 3-year Strategic - Annual Plans, Operational Plans and Latest Estimates including providing fact-based challenge to relevant stakeholders. You will be part of the Management Team of Out of Home Vrumona.

Your department           

Our Financials are the eyes and ears when it comes to investments, savings and analyzing the possibilities to drive sustainable and profitable top-line growth. They signal and optimize inefficient business processes and work in multidisciplinary projects.          

Your profile      

For this role we are looking for someone who is an experienced, independent and challenging business partner at MT level, with an excellent understanding of the business processes and who can also communicate well at all levels in the organization.            

Also, the ideal candidate has:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience;
• A finalized WO/Master study in business economics;
• Advanced knowledge of systems and applications;
• In depth knowledge on Reporting & Accounting;     
• Excellent presentation skills (ability to present in a clear and succinct manner to senior audiences);
• Genuine interest in the commercial side of our business;
• Proficiency in Dutch and English is a must.
