Have you already gained some experience as a sheet metal worker? And are you looking for a challenging and varied job in the aircraft industry? We have found it for you at SAMCO.

You will work in the clean and pleasant workshop in Maastricht (next to Maastricht Airport).
Here, together with your team, you will carry out damage repairs on aircraft components. Experience in the aviation industry is not a requirement. They are also open to sheet metal workers with experience from other industries (e.g. car body repair).

We offer you an immediate one-year contract so that you can calmly develop in your new position.

who are you

You have an eye for detail and;

• you have gained work experience as a sheet metal worker (diploma is nice, but not a requirement);
• you have a good command of English and possibly Dutch;
• you are looking for a long-term job.

what will you do

As a sheet metal worker at SAMCO, you and your colleagues perform damage repair work on aircraft parts. These come from medium-sized aircraft arriving at Maastricht Airport. SAMCO mechanics dismantle the parts and bring them to the damage repair workshop located at the airport.

You are in charge of assessing the damage and resolving it independently. You carry out repairs on aircraft parts and customise new parts. You will also dent and restore aircraft panels. For this, you use tool benches and small machines.

At SAMCO, they value efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness. So, you will work in a clean and pleasant working environment. You will work in a diverse international team. The working language within the company is English.

• assess and independently resolve damage to aircraft components;
• repair and modification of aircraft parts;
• denting and painting of aircraft parts.

where will you work

SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance is an independent maintenance facility for a wide range of regional jet aircraft and turboprops. The company has around 200 colleagues at its home base Maastricht Airport. And just under 100 employees at various airports around the world. You will work in a close-knit team of eight experienced sheet metal workers.

• salary between € 2500 and € 3100 gross (depending on knowledge and experience);
• an immediate one-year contract (with a view to a permanent contract);
