As Manager Financial Control you will report to the Director Global Finance. At Prosus Corporate Finance you will work as Manager Financial Control to lead the Corporate Finance function in The Netherlands, deliver timely and high-quality group reporting (Hyperion) and drive automation and process efficiencies (SAP ECC).

As One Corporate Finance team we facilitate growth and success of Prosus / Naspers, by providing quality information and insights to our stakeholders, while securing governance and compliance, in an inspiring environment. The team is located in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsibility for group costs reporting, intercompany transactions and closing activities;
• Manage a team (6 to 8 people) in Amsterdam and Hong Kong;
• Analyzing and reviewing the P&L and balance sheets of various entities;
• Implementing new financial legislations and embedding regulations, secure compliance;
• Presenting financial analysis to the Corporate Functions, Director Global Finance and the Corporate CFO to assist them in steering the business;
• Creating efficiencies across financial processes and driving automation opportunities;
• Define and document harmonized and standardized accounting processes in SAP, ensure governance and segregation of duties;
• Accountable for efficient external audit process within budget and tight deadlines;
• Overseeing the international budgeting and forecasting process including management fees/corporate recharges in accordance with company policy;
• Create business insights via dashboards and the translation of data;
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement initiatives around reporting, consolidation and a more effective use of data;
• Management of outsourced service providers (e.g. Accenture, Cogent);
• Communication and collaboration with segments, peers and other stakeholders. 

Gevraagd

• Accountancy qualification (RA/ACA/CPA/CA);
• 8 + years of professional experience within finance with a preference for experience in both audit and industry. Big 4 experience will be advantageous;
• Have solid experience in reporting and control, ideally within an international environment;
• Highly analytical, structured and proactive with a hands-on approach;
• Excellent communicator with fluency in both English and Dutch;
• Able to connect the dots, think outside the box and be able create a vision for change;
• Experience with SAP (FICO, SRM) will be strongly advantageous.
