Role Description

The main purpose of the payroll specialist position is to guarantee the prompt and precise handling of monthly and yearly payroll, timekeeping duties, and the administration of all benefits-related matters. This role serves as the central point for addressing most employee inquiries and requests.

Responsibilities

– Ensuring accurate and timely collection of payroll input data for all entities, sourced from HR and other departments.
– Conducting meticulous review and monitoring of payroll change records in a collaborative environment.
– Addressing payroll inquiries from employees and/or managers regarding mutations.
– Processing payroll accurately and punctually.
– Processing benefit plan mutations (e.g., Pension fund, Benify, UWV) accurately and promptly.
– Generating employer statements.
– Serving as the primary liaison between outsourced payroll providers (ADP & Mazars) and internal employees, with regular engagement with external official bodies.
– Overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including Time & Attendance (time-Wize & Employee Central) and Payroll Systems (ADP).
– Handling other ad-hoc tasks and actions relevant to the payroll function.

Requirements

– Preferably 3-5 years of pertinent payroll and benefits experience specific to The Netherlands.
– Possession of an Associate's degree in Payroll (PDL) is preferred; however, equivalent work experience will be considered.
– Experience with ADP software is advantageous.
– Demonstrated experience in project-based work.
– Proficiency in basic accounting principles.
– Knowledgeable about the Dutch pension system.
– Strong social and communication skills in both English and Dutch, both written and verbal.
