HR Payroll Specialist

To expand our central HR & Payroll team, we are looking for a driven Payroll & HR Specialist. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for international colleagues and ensure that our HR service grows alongside our international ambitions. As a Payroll & HR Specialist, you are responsible for the flawless execution of international payroll and HR processes. You work closely with Finance and external partners to ensure timely salary processing.

You will be part of the central HR team. We are a flat organization with short lines of communication and an informal working atmosphere. We are growing rapidly and are currently preparing for a new international payroll structure in collaboration with an external provider. In this dynamic environment, you will have ample room for initiative and professional growth.

Your main tasks:

• Processing the entire inflow, transfer, and outflow, mutations, and benefits in the system.
• Checking leave, sickness, and vacation requests.
• Preparing and submitting salary data to the external payroll provider.
• Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations (supported by the provider).
• Drafting employment contracts and legal documents.
• Management of personnel files, databases, and payroll reports to Finance.

You bring this:

• Education & Experience: You hold a relevant diploma (e.g. PDL or VPS) and have at least 4 years of demonstrable experience in payroll administration. A background as an HR professional is a strong advantage.
• Systems: Excellent computer skills (Excel) and experience with HRIS/Payroll systems such as ADP, Perman, or IHCM. Knowledge of Learned, GoodHabitz, or Speakap is a plus.
• Languages: You are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
• Competencies: You are proactive, accurate, and service-oriented. You know how to prioritize in a hectic environment and possess a healthy dose of humor.
• Location: Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for candidates who are already residing in the Netherlands.

The offer:

• Salary: A gross monthly salary of up to €5,800 (based on 40 hours), depending on your experience and seniority.
• Employment: We prefer 40 hours per week. For top candidates, 32 or 36 hours are negotiable.
• Hybrid Flexibility: As soon as you have fully mastered the international processes (on average after 6 months, or as early as 4 months for a flying start), we will switch to a hybrid work model.
